Patient
Description:
50-year-old male. Does he need Dr.
Zweigs help or what? He definitely had a mouthful of problems. With Dr. Zweigs
help, he regained his self-esteem.
Procedure:
Combination of procedures
Crown lengthening or gum surgery exposed all of the tooth decay so Dr. Zweig could remove
it. Patient required multiple root canals, 5 teeth extractions, upper and lower
bridgework, and full mouth reconstruction. Patient is presently in provisionals or
long-term temporary bridges.
The after picture shows the
provisionals, not the permanent replacement. This patient will be evaluated over a period
of a couple of years to make sure he is satisfied with the appearance of teeth, i.e., the
shape, size, positioning, and the effect on his speech. In short, the patient gets to
preview how the permanent teeth will look.
Visits:
1 with a surgeon; 1
with a specialist for root canals; 2 visits over 6 weeks with Dr. Zweig to fit the
provisionals.
Time:
2 hours with gum surgeon; 6-7 hours
with root canal specialist; 5 hours for provisionals
